If you are a craft beer geek and own a smart phone you are probably using the Untappd app to check in to all the great beers you find during your travels. It has quickly become the defacto social sharing site of craft beer drinkers with it’s simple interface and huge data base of beers.

Aside from geo-tagging the location of your latest fermented conquest there are nice function built in to help you find beer on your journeys. The localized listings in the “Compass” section of the app can be a useful resource for the beer traveler.
